Actor of Father Mulcahy role dies

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Actor of Father Mulcahy role dies

Post by taabarang »

For those of you old enough to remember the MASH series you will know immediately whom I I'm referring to.

For as much as Father Mulcahy was a fictional character, I think he resonated with so many viewers about what they wanted Christians and chaplains to be - rest well, William Christopher.

I loved that show and watch their reruns whenever I can. There were quite a few real good characters in it and he was one of them. Glad to hear he at least made it beyond 80, god bless his sole.

Yep, nothing dogmatic about him at all. In addition the cast of MASH with all of its disparate characters was the best ever assembled for a TV series.

Oh, well that totally changes the sentiment. Thank you so much for pointing out our foolishness. </sarcasm>

They re-ran Mash so much in the 80's I think I have every episode burned in memory, it was a great show that brilliantly balanced comedy and drama. Always wondered why Alan Alda didn't become more famous after the show, though a quick look at his imdb he looks to have been working good over the years.

Er, no, why would you think that? I just found it odd that taabarang waited five months to start a thread about this event.
