It amusing to see the right wingers in the US congress and Fox News now gushing over the need to make a pact with Iran over the ongoing nastiness in Western Iraq with ISIS taking control of half the country in only a few days. Just a few months they were all about bombing Iran senseless over their nuclear program. Now those same talking heads are saying "we need to sit down and talk with them". What Orwell called "double-think".

Generally I prefer white wine with a meal. If I am at a social event it is beer all night. I can drink about 10 beers so guess I am a lightweight, what's your max fellow CEO members?

I have not heard any lefties calling for more troops on the ground, except to bolster US Embassy defenses and a few more ships to the Gulf. The most they will do is allow airstrikes.
But you're right, no one looks good in this situation. It was an ill conceived fuck story from day one.

Apparently ISIS took over the bank in Mosul. They are now sitting on nearly half a billion dollars of cash, in addition to all the weapons and vehicles left behind by the hapless Iraqi Army.
