A new thread for you to vent your anti-Israel handwringing?

97 hostages still held after a year. Thousands of missiles fired at Israel by Hezbollah in Lebanon. 300 ballistic missiles fired at Israel by Iran. $Billions spent on defending themselves. Believe that!.

And you're worried about AI being used for targeting the enemy. :please:

Why "potential"? I think by now it is established fact. The real question is if the perpetrators will be prosecuted and convicted.

Anyone can come up with a war crime-free war?

There's no doubt Israel commits war crimes. Just like their opponents do and did. Remember October 7th last year?

two sides to every situation.
is either more "civilized" than the other?
.....97 hostages still held after a year.
More than 4,700 Palestinians have been arrested in the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem since October 7, according to the UN. Those arrested or detained include journalists, politicians and political activists, artists, medics and physicians, temporary workers, and other civilians, including women and children. As of July 2024, more than 9,700 Palestinians in total were being held in Israeli prisons, per the Palestinian Prisoners Club

Total deaths ( August 15th 2024)
Palestinians killed in Gaza: at least 40,005
People killed in Israel: about 1,200
Palestinians killed in the West Bank: 623
People killed in Lebanon: around 530

Civilians killed in Gaza: Gaza’s health ministry doesn’t distinguish between civilians and combatants in its count, but says at least 5,956 women and at least 10,627 children have been killed.

Civilians and foreigners killed in Israel: 860
Children killed in Israel: 53
Civilians killed since Oct. 7 in Israel along its northern border: 24
Civilians killed in Lebanon: 97
Aid workers killed in Gaza: 284
Health workers killed in Gaza: over 500
Journalists and media workers killed: At least 113

Soldiers/Militants
Militants killed by Israel in Gaza: more than 17,000, according to the Israeli military
Israeli soldiers killed in the Gaza ground offensive: 329
Israeli soldiers killed on Oct. 7: 314
Israeli soldiers killed along Israel’s northern front since Oct. 7: 22

Percentage of homes likely damaged: more than 60%
Percentage of school buildings damaged: 85%

Palestinian civilians facing “catastrophic” food insecurity, according to the U.N.: 495,000
Percentage of students out of school: 100%
Percentage of road network damaged: 65%

As long as the US and Germany supply the rockets and supplies to Israel and as long as Iran backs Hezbollah an Hamas
this wont end

Been reading about Israel and its Octopus Doctrine where they are tiring of fighting the tentacles of the Octopus (Iran), and now focusing on the beast's head. The long held view is Iran has transferred their war with Israel over to Hamas and Hezbollah.

So, because war crimes are common, the ones phuketrichard is referring to are acceptable? Low standards.

You have a very selective memory when it comes to history. Remember the Naqba? 1948?

This didn't start on October 7th 2023. It has been going on for 75+ years, and the Palestinian Arab/Muslims didn't start it.
