Picked up the camera for the first time in a long time last week and took to the streets of Perth's CBD to see if I could ferret out anything fun or interesting. Would still like to get better at it of course, but failing that, the summer is a mild-ish one with the walks lengthy and pleasant.

The photo of the purple haired lady is surreal. It's like somebody photo shopped it tbh.

Didn't take the camera on the last SEA trip.

I waited at this coffee shop every day for a week (30 minutes at a time) until someone interesting was standing out the front in sort of the right spot. Luckily it's in the middle of the city mall so plenty of people lingering about - just had to be a little patient.

KFHB, I am currently using a Huawei P20 pro and it takes incredible photos as they are a few years old now you should be able to pick up a decent one for under $200, something very easy to carry around so you won't miss those photo opportunities when travelling.

Yes, he did.......but those photos are for the 'special' thread. If you smell what I'm cooking.
