Trump confirms FBI ‘raided and occupied’ his Florida home, Mar-a-Lago

This is normally a very bad sign, right?

The FBI raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida and broke into a safe in his palatial home, the former president confirmed Monday.

Trump said in a message on his social media forum Truth Social that his home had been “raided, and occupied” and was “currently under siege.”

FBI agents were reportedly searching for classified documents that Trump allegedly brought with him from the White House to Mar-a-Lago after his presidency ended — which, if true, could be a violation of federal law.

The National Archives and Records Administration said it had found classified material in 15 boxes at the residence earlier this year and alerted the FBI. The agents executed a search warrant Monday to look for additional presidential records Trump may have relocated to his Florida estate.

“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.”

For him, yes. Apparently the bar is pretty high for a federal judge to agree to a no knock warrant especially if a former president. The US is a nation of laws … sometimes.

It's really means 1 of 3 things:

1. Trump really is a criminal, and they'll be announcing charges tomorrow that are obvious.

2. The same zombies who still think Trump was working under Putin all this time are still doing everything they can to stop him from being president again.

3. The US is on the fast track to becoming a third world country. Raiding a former leader's home is the shit you expect out of backwards countries in Africa or the Middle East.

I'm guessing a mix of 2 and 3. Good news is this probably guarantees Trump the nomination in 2024!

*It's interesting to remember that destroying the illegal servers you have in your basement when you're sectary of state and then bleaching them does NOT warrant your house getting raided, but being orange man bad does, lol.

Lol ... the POTUS refusing to recognize a democratic election, fake elector schemes, mobs of people storming the Whitehouse trying to force them to change the results of the election, religious fundamentalists taking away people's rights, a president removing classified documents - reportedly sometimes flushing them down the toilet or even eating them.... I'd say the 3rd world shit has been going on for some time now.

That's what I'm saying, banana republic stuff. When you see mobs with burning torches chanting shit about Jews, people on trucks carrying flags and assault rifles, dudes screaming about hanging people, citizens scared of the police etc you'd usually expect it to be in some far-off place with no running water, dodgy infrastructure and a language you don't understand.

Where are you seeing that it was a no-knock warrant? The info that I've come across states that advance notice was given.
