Will Elon Musk Takeover Twitter One Way or Another?

Elon Musk has been trying to buy Twitter and take it private, even offering $43 billion dollars ($54.20 per stock). The board of directors initially declined his offer and said they would instead take a 'poison pill' to stop him, but they are now reconsidering his offer.

He says he's doing it to provide more free speech for the public, but many are lashing out at him, literally calling him a super evil villain for this.

Amazing how fast some can turn on the man who's been trying to get us to Mars and has done the most to bring electric cars mainstream.

Do you think he'll get it one way or another, and do you think the planet needs more free speech in these big tech privately owned digital town squares?

Go Elon.

Musk brought his side show to Texas and has fucked people here since day one. He eventually was able to claim eminent domain on a few people who didn’t take his offer to move out of their house, forcing them to take his offer, so his employees could live in an entire subdivision. And he has blocked a portion of South Padre beach with his space toys. And of course, as with any large company, they are paying nothing in taxes. So I say screw him and he needs to take his ass back to California.

As for Twitter, no, I don’t think it will happen. But then again I have never used it so I really could care less one way or another.

And he can keep his overpriced and unreliable cars.

Musk is a genius at manipulating the media.
He is entering a difficult phase with the SEC's investigation into his misdeeds. This Twitter thing is a useful distraction.
Meanwhile he has driven up the price of TWTR stock, without offering enough to be a serious buyer. He can sell out at a nice profit at some point.

He has 9% of the stock, refuses a seat on the board (or a nominee?) and the price only went from $39 to $50 because he disclosed his position. It is now at $48 and treading water. The best chance of getting out of his position at anywhere near $50 is if someone else buys Twitter and takes him out.

If he tries to sell his stake surely the price will go back down to >$35 just as violently as it went up?

Mr. General, how many times per year do you and your surrogate wokers censure debate, comments, opinions, and language on CEO?

Some would say too often; others would say not often enough. Getting the right balance is never an easy task.
