Phillips offering Brandos watch worn in ‘Apocalypse Now’

"Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo has announced that its next New York auction, titled Game Changers on Dec. 10, will offer Marlon Brando’s personal Rolex GMT-Master that he wore in the 1979 Francis Ford Coppola film Apocalypse Now."
"In 1995, Brando gifted the piece to his daughter Petra Brando Fischer after her 1994 graduation from Brown University. His hand-written note said: “This watch is like a tank"
"The watch, which Brando acquired in the early 1970s, remains in the same condition as it appeared in the 40-year-old film, with its bezel missing and fitted with a black rubber strap."
