Picked up the camera again these last few days which found me wandering the city streets. This also means inflicting my amateur street photography efforts onto the membership of CEO of course. You're welcome.

Fucking hell, Hillbilly. You've got some serious, natural talent. I love 'slice of life' stuff.

Well done, there's not a one in this batch, I don't like. :thumb:

That's very generous, Brody. :hattip:

Great set of shots, you’ve got a really good eye. Personally think these ones are the best you’ve posted on here. 👍

Thanks, CC. The idea a person can learn a new hobby at any age with hope for continuing improvement is an encouraging one.

Indeed, I switched to photography as my retirement hobby a couple of years ago, thought it was ideal for the outdoor and travel life we can lead here. Hardest part I’ve found is trying to learn the post processing and storage/cataloguing software, having been tied to the computer in my career sitting in front of one for any period of time in a learning capacity is challenging. Definately more a rainy season task for me. :D

Looking good,
best bunch u have posted.

Love ur exploring B & W
...post processing and storage/cataloguing software
I use adobe bridge with Raw cs5 for cataloging, adding meta tags, copyright, keywords and simple editing...
than go to PS for finished job, (use: image-adjustments-Shadows/Highlights) is a wonderful tool

Lightroom is a simpler method but not as many options

I used to hate LR but it has become a pretty complete package in the latest (LR CC) version.

I’ve got a Lightroom one off package but now I’m mainly using Fuji I just got a 50% off deal on a one off Capture One licence, who Fuji work with so the best for their cameras. The e-book I bought is 500 pages

i prefer cs5 , stand alone rather than one of the cloud versions as ur at their mercy to what they charge you, adobe just really upped their fee/month
