Reminds one of those heady days in 1968.

This is the one thing that America and the UK have in common, they are both disliked by the French who seem to dislike everyone including themselves.

When the french are protesting they usually go all out not like the soft krauts or lazy italians.

Every time the peasants revolt (or the country is invaded) , the government give in.

Good for them!
Raising taxes on necessities like fuel crushes productivity and hurts workers (if that's what the protests are really about instead of the hordes of barbarians that have invaded.)

Dark days ahead for the peasantry if the EU gets that army that he and Merkel want...
