I've been in Bukit Lawang, Northern Sumatra, for a bit before I start moving slowly north through SEA over the next few months. I'm being a bit of a bum swinging in a hammock, playing the guitar and trying to get better at taking photos. If anyone's interested, I thought I'd upload a couple here every now and again as i get along..

some nice shots.....I like the 2nd and 5th
suggestion, try and use F8 or smaller f stop, unless ur specifically going for a narrow depth of field

Thanks pr, for the advice. I am struggling a bit with aperture.I've just not taken shots with a DSLR before this trip. I'll give it a crack

Have you ever been to the Philippines yet? it is part of South East Asia, too. I am sure you know that. I am asking because the similarity of these interesting pictures are very high.
