Swedish car maker Volvo says its vehicles built in China might actually be superior in quality to those it makes in Europe.
In an interview with Australia’s Go Auto, Volvo's senior vice-president of design, Robin Page, admitted that some were concerned about the automaker’s decision to build many of its vehicles in China.
“What we’re finding is that the quality of the cars is actually better in China than in Europe. Everyone was worried about quality, but as soon as they [the Chinese – Ed.] started the quality was even higher than in Europe,” Page said.

Well, Volvo is owned by China since 2010. Quell seprise!

I wonder if the same stooge will comment on Volvo trucks?

Putin's propaganda outlet gets Volvo to state that the Chinese make better cars than the Europeans. That doesn't sound untrustworthy at all.

But I agree, they should get Nutteryahoo to do a presentation, those are always true, if somehow outdated (10-15 years, but who needs current facts?)

Fair enough. Volvos are old lady cars anyway though. Maybe next time try posting a link to a halfway reputable source from the start?

Most, if not all, big manufacturers have cars made in China. Not a surprise.

It (the quality of the work being superior) was a huge surprise/inconvenient truth for kptic, and to be honest, a big surprise for myself as well.

Re reliable links, my first link was reliable because I had checked.

I would hope that some other posters would also be capable of using a search engine, even a basic one such as Google. The onus on challenging is to either disprove the OP's source or accept it, not demand other sources with no basis. It's how debate works.

Spoonfeeding is not my favorite pastime. If people want to dispute things, then they should also research and post links to refute, yes? Rather than Fox mode which is used to dismissing anything they don't like out of hand.
