You don't even have to pretend you have a medical problem.
A very HAPPY New Year to you, California !
Hippy dream now a billion-dollar industry with California set to legalise cannabis
30 December 2017

The new era may begin with a whimper. State authorities have given counties and cities authority and responsibility to govern the new industry. The result is a patchwork. LA and San Francisco only recently approved local regulations so it could be weeks or months before newly licensed pot shops start sprouting. Oakland, Santa Cruz and San Diego have licensed operators ready to open on Monday...

CNN is interviewing people in Denver for New Year’s Eve at a pot and paint party. They are actually showing people smoking pot on live TV. It’s bloody bizarre.

Oh how America has changed.

Was just an observation. In the Uk they cannot quite bring themselves to legalise cannabis so they are considering legalising Vigra instead.
People always find money for sex and drugs (including alcohol and tobacco). if you legalise you get tax revenue from it and you don't have to pay the police or courts to chase around catching people. Win win financially. the moral issue is a different debate

Yes, tobacco was originally banned in England and only legalised when it was found to be habit-forming, as they realised it would be a great taxable source of income
