Look what happens every time John Stewart tries...

Not far from the truth, really. Multiple well-known singers/actors have tweeted very mild and well-intentioned calls for a stop to the bloodshed of all innocent civilians in the region and they all get immediately crushed by an avalanche of very nasty and threatening comments from the usual extremist wackos on both sides.

News Flash! This not a religious War. It's all about the Money: who controls the fertile land and water.

Everything else is smoke and mirrors to rationalize their position, funding, damage, politics and gain.

You can not say it's not a religious war because for all of the Muslim world it absolutely IS about religion...and Hamas gets all it's funding from those other Muslim countries. It is a religious war to many orthodox Jews who believe God promised them that land.

To the majority of Israelis and Palestinians it is about land, period. Nothing to do at all about specifically "fertile" land or the money generated from farming there. It's all arid, chalky desert...but it's all they have.

i just want one side to wipe out the other and get this fucking over with... i'm not particularly keen on either side of the issue (they've both behaved terribly) so i don't care which one wins. i just want it done. and nothing short of one side completely wiping out the other will ever see it done.

Time is not on the Israeli's side.

But, as neither side has anywhere else to go, it will inevitably be a fight to the absolute annihilation of one of the sides, as weapons get more and more deadly.

I do find it interesting when some networks send a Jewish reporter to Palestine, and after the Jewish guy is done reporting, the Jewish anchor speaks to a Jewish expert on security, or possibly a member of the IDF.

Definitely impartial.

The whole country should be fenced off and filled with radioactive waste and let's be done with this crap based on some magical teddy bear telling people he gave the land to them. Fuckwits.
