UK: Thames Valley Police, who are investigating the death of George Michael, said officers were called to a property in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, shortly before 2pm on Christmas Day: "Sadly, a 53-year-old man was confirmed deceased at the scene. At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious."

I dont get the outpouring of grief from the public for someone they never met (unless in a public toilet) and wall to wall coverage on all the major channels,BBC,CNN etc

sure he wrote some ok songs (most of which are pretty lame nowadays) and was famous for his drug abuse and fondness for cruising gay sites for a quick suck and bum action

The life of a succesful popmusician, is a sucky one. Look at his partner from Wham, playing golf and surfing without the stinking paparazzi on his heels day and night, having to lock himself up into some gated compound.

I hate that Christmas song, but it ain't going away, it has sadly become an evergreen.

But I did like that video he did with all the supermodels and him behind some camera spying on them, that was creepy fun.
