School in S.R. looking for staff in January 2015

This is our job board for expats. Until ZipRecruiter and Indeed make their way to the Kingdom of Wonder, this is the best place to look for employment in Cambodia, whether you're looking to teach English, manage a 5-star hotel, volunteer, or even work for some of the big NGOs. Even digital nomads who move to Cambodia sometimes need a side gig as a TEFL instructor from time to time. Most professional expatriate jobs are in Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap and Kampot are emerging as attractive alternatives. If you're an employer or hiring manager, you're also welcome to post your job listing here for free.

School in S.R. looking for staff in January 2015

Post by Francis »

In January (latest February)next year a new international school is going to open in Siem Reap. The schools name is "IQ International School".
The owner, Mr. Chhiv Da is looking for teachers, incl. a director, supervisors, kindergarten teachers, elementary teachers, middle school and high school teachers. Also art, music and sport teachers are wanted. You should be a native English speaker with experience.

If you are interested please contact Mr. Chhiv Da at 012 22 83 30
or via email: [email protected]. Please indicate that you are applying for IQ International School !!!!

Information: I am NOT working for him, and I am no teacher. I just know Mr. Chhiv Da for about 4 years. He runs already 3 schools in Siem Reap and he is a very trustworthy and reliable person......actually hard to find in this country. Anyway, he has asked me to publish this.

The new website of IQ International School Siem Reap is: http://iqschool.wix.com/iqis :beer3:
Edit: November 18 Website is offline at the moment....construction problems. Will be back online in a couple of days they told me.

Und die laufen vom Gesicht
Doch der Haifisch lebt im Wasser
So die Tränen sieht man nicht

In der Tiefe ist es einsam
Und so manche Träne fliesst
Und so kommt es dass das Wasser
In den Meeren salzig ist

Isn't it ? Just a picture.......at least they don't post the job offer "over there" for some reason.....and that speaks for them, too :D

Holy shit. Their hiring page is about as blunt as they could be. They even have a link to Hope International School, LoL.

Sometimes you got to be "blunt".......getting the right people here is not an easy task. The whole thing sounds perhaps negative, but IF they hire you, you will make a very positive experience.....I know that from many people that are working there.

I looked at the staff page and they don't seem to have any Westerners working there.

They do have Westerners....actually a lot of them......but the website is not up-to-date. Also....Westerners regularly don't like to be published on the internet.

Thanks i'll wait till i'm available (should be this month)
Interesting where i come from the sarcastic question "Does he wear white socks" used to be a slur on male sexuality
Now i'm going to be jumping off the plane and scouring the streets for a recognisable type wearing presumably crap shoes and white socks!
Oh the pic has just appeared. Do they have to bind children's feet to accomplish that?
