Remarkable. I wonder if you can get fire insurance as it looks very "wooden" to me. Do they even have "bargirls" and "barfines" in Siem Reap?

Possibly a better angle for selling a business is by showing pictures of it with even one customer rather than empty?

There isn't enough information to make many comments. Suffice to say, you would be sold the "half", not actually be buying it. It looks like a nice little bar but without a beach? I don't get it.

What if you bought 51% and then voted out the remaining shareholders?

You would be killed. I'm sure it's someone's life savings and he is dependent on said "bar" for an income stream and maybe even his own drinking.

I hope Dan's not going into interior decorating after he sells his share.

I'm sure the "reason" he's selling has been a thought out in detail story. As mentioned, you are only buying nothing as nothing is for sell. To convince people to pay real money for wicker furniture and a lease takes some real brain power.

For once I agree with Nok Tang...$6,500 to take over 50% of a lease of a hole-in-the-wall bar with some cheap rattan furniture is not a good deal imo. According to their FB page, the bar only opened at the start of November this year, why selling so quick?
