Would a MacBook Air cut the mustard? I've got one laying around that is maybe 3-4 years old but barely used*. The Air is only 13" from memory, but what difference could a couple of inches make in Phnom Penh?
* I better double check my casual observation that the wife doesn't actually use it ...

check The Mac Store on Kampucheakrom blvd. there are computer shops almost door to door on that road.
