Maybe, but we've got our money's worth out of both of ours. You buy one, you run it and work out all the kinks and quirks (not a Gay Pride Week reference) and get it to the point you're confident in, and/or can do running repairs yourself on the road (like changing out clutch cables) and they'll keep on going. One thing I discovered by surprise though, is that often the supplied jack doesn't lift the vehicle high enough, the lug wrench doesn't match the lugs actually on the tyres, and the bolt holding the spare tyre underneath the tray spins freely, meaning the spare is never coming down.
