I'm guessing it has a ''normal'' 2 pin pug that fits into the average Cambodian house electrical socket and behind the wall wiring that is built to handle large amount of wattage.

It has actually a 3 wire connection (initally it hat a German plug with 2 pins, which was cut as it did not fit in the Cambodian socket.) 1 Earth, 1 Neutral and 1 Line. If your "averarge Cambodian house electrical socket" is able to manage the Wattage and if there is a safety Neutral line (Green and Yellow wire as requested by the manufacturer) I won't be able to say. Any "standard Socket in a developed country installed by a professional" can manage.....
