Fleetwood Mac w. Peter Green - "Homework" - 1968 on French TV

Mick Fleetwood and John McVie share the stage with three great guitarists, Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer (on piano here) and Danny Kirwan, who all unfortunately 'lost their minds' and eventually left the band.

On a bit of a Jaco binge. Groove drops at 0.49 for the impatient and at 3.47 things get as tasty as things can get, I reckon.

Jaco is where I'm from, I go by Jaco Pastorius Park everyday there's a big mural of him on the side of the community building. As an old bass player I can say he was way beyond his time, shame he was such a drunk.

Almost every renowned bass player rates Jaco as the GOAT and it was a pity he wasn't able to get ongoing help for his mental illness, Not sure if you've watched the recent documentary produced by Robert Trujillo (Metallica bass player) on Jaco's life, but it's brilliant! Florida sure did get it right with Jaco.

Otava Yo, a new and very professional Russian folk group are killing it right now. Great sense of humour, fantastic multi-talented musicians, eminently danceable, and just loads of fun. No English subs for this one yet, but some of their other tracks do, and their album will be released internationally next month I think. The song is about having fun before a fight as far as I understand.

The Move - Brontosaurus - Live televised performance 1970
This song was the first Move recording made after Jeff Lynne joined. Roy Wood (guitar/vocals) recruited Lynne into the group with the main aim of developing the embryonic Electric Light Orchestra.
