i have spent so little time there since i was a young kid i don't know what to make of it anymore.
Just like Cambodia is KOW, America is Awesome .

My parents and friends liked it, but said they could never live there. i have met a few that moved to LA for a few years in the 90's. They were always "pop" minded IMO, and weree the least politically aware people that I knew.
I have no real on-the-ground idea of America, as I've only been to New York state. I expect I could give it a try just so long as I agreed with most Americans POV of their greatness? Although I would hope to find like- minded Americans at some point.

I personally don't think that having the greatest economy is any standard by which to rate a country's greatness.
The Netherlands supposed greatest historical period is its Golden Age, when all the ships were out plundering new countries and the corporation was born. Personally I feel its greatest age was its form of democracy and the fact that they have had poor men on their councils for years.

you do understand that stats are often misleading and slanted, as to you tube videos :please: :facepalm: LOL
it all depends on the questions asked and the people that are asked.

Your opinions of America are mostly from what you get online an although we would all love to believe because it is written it is true, that is not always the case or
your speaking with disgruntled expats u meet in bars
not often the best source of obtaining info
i know, i never claimed them to be fact lol

just like your 90% would choose an american passport isnt fact, just a bias opinion lol

:thumb:
Once again Jamie doesn't read what i said :please:

I NEVER said 90% would choose an American passport

one last time for u ok; i said
go up and ask 100 Asians which country they would love to move to and live
bet 90%++ say America

Go on google that an give me the results :facepalm:
hahaha fuck knows im guessing the poll was taken in america
you quote a poll and have no idea where it was taken. :please:

as to this;
i just find it amusing when Americans get so butt hurt when anyone doesnt agree
I think u will find that 90% of Americans that travel ,DO NOT get upset if u say their not the greatest, cause they know its not .
I doubt any American on here would think that America is the greatest so no idea where u get this>

America is NOT the greatest country ( and hasn't been for a while) and it does have its faults,
but more so than ANY other country, it is the land of opportunity for immigrants.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

As HM will profess. Get in, get what you want, and get out again. Who knows what influence this will have on the world in the long run, but it will make a difference.

i appoligise
you didnt make the initial comment about the passports someone else did, but its what started the debate about the polls, which i was already googling before you had made your comment
"csosdny wrote:
I would bet that if you laid ten of the most appealing first world countries passports on the table and said "pick one," hands down 99% would pick USA."

i actually agreed to you about the asians and that the biggest portion of American immigrants are asian, i just didnt agree with the percentage

my comment wasnt actually aimed at you, youre the one who started the thread if i remember rightly
