I only saw those movies a long time ago but they were remarkable. Those kind of movies I never watch twice.

Sorry JB, I can watch great movies over and over. Am mid-way through Ronin (again) and it's like watching it for the first time, despite knowing the movie. You have your way, I have my way. I watched Reservoir Dogs the other night for the first time in quite a few years. Still a great movie. Fort Apache the Bronx is another great one. Towering Inferno another. I could go on. But I'll get back to watching the movie. :beer3:

I could watch the same movie a few times over a broad number of years but not so much again and again in a short period.

One of the best war movies I've ever watched - "Come and See".

Irishman was good. I would hate to see it in the cinema, don’t want to sit 3 hours.

This. Undoubtedly one of the greatest pieces of cinema, and most damning indictments of war ever made. Harrowing to the core.

Cool. I'm a big fan of older Soviet movies (and war movies especially), and never heard of this one for some reason. Will check it out.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Not a war film, but are you a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan? This amazing piece of work deserves a spot on this thread either way. Full movie easily available of YouTube for those who haven't seen it. Not for everyone I guess, slow, atmospheric science fantasy work with meandering psychedelic cinematography, and bizarre unexplainable themes.
