The two I remember most (I was a teenager in the early 70's) and which I couldn't find in any of the lists posted, are : The Animals, We gotta get outta this place, and Glen Campbell's beautiful 'Galveston' (I clean my gun, and dream of Galveston). But there you go, we all have different memories. Oh yeah, also there is a song from the other side of the conflict, about remembering dead comrades:

" Make friends with the moon, watch the stars, with a gun in my hand"
" Tried being reasonable. Didn't like it" (Clint Eastwood)

Sorry to hear that, Rich

I had a brother at Khe Sanh
Fighting off the Viet Cong
They're still there; he's all gone
He had a woman he loved in Saigon
I got a picture of him in her arms, now
