Middle class white kid singing a gangster hip hop nigga song = cringe
Middle aged dad singing and dancing = cringe
Doing it in a car = cringe
I am not an advocate of posting stuff online of your kids, wether it's holiday snaps or stupid arse videos. It's exploitation.
I had a mate in the UK who was a hip hop DJ and would travel all over to do gigs. One day we went to see him (Cambridge I think) and was impressed with his choice of music. as I don't mind that genre (Biggy Small - da man). Afterwards he walkd over to the bar and was talking to lots of admirers and as he got close we could hear him talk. He sounded like a wigga douche bag "Yeah boy" and "Sweet" talking like an American rapper! It was hilarious!
He saw us and kind of laughed and I said "What the fuck was all that about!" and he explained he has to talk like that instead of his posh Cambridge educated real voice!
The funny thing was, as we were in Cambridge (top uni and very expensive place) most of the lads there were also posh private school and their real voices were the same as his!

That's cringey as well as being a terrible choice of song. If youre gonna get your kids to do that shit at least get them to mime to Follow The Leader or Shook Ones or 4th Chamber of something thats a valid tune rather than DMX ffs.

Would it be ok to say it as a black man, like DMX does in pretty much all of his songs. When you sing his songs do you replace "n word" when he says nigga?
If I said "I don't like DMX or any of that dumb nigga music" that would be racist and out of order. It's about context same with Australians and the word "cunt"; "How ya going cunt?" or "He's a cunt" is different to how the British would use it who only say it if they are really pissed off!
