Although mot addicted to TV, I have decided to download every thing I can from Amazon, Netflix, Popcorntime and Viki.com onto portable HDDs for bringing with us when we move so that we have a massive selection to chose from rather than wait for the streaming to buffer and catch up.
Up to just over 9 TB so far and climbing. Everything from Sci Fi to Wuxia and old black and white films to cult movies. You name it, I've recorded it.
Should see us into our graves.

I can strongly recommend Popcorntime and if you like Wuxia or Chinese/Korean slush/romance then Viki.com....Full of good stuff.
