Pattaya murder suspect finally convicted of attempted murder in Ireland.
In 2006,Denis Leahy was arrested for the murder of his girlfriend who was found dead in his Pattaya flat with 22 stab wounds. He was caught thanks to a taxi driver who was driving him to the Cambodian border. He never went to trial, but is reported to have paid £30,000 for his release from Thai jail.
This week Leahy was sentenced by an Irish court to 14 years prison for the attempted murder of his Irish ex-girlfriend in 2014. She was also stabbed 22 times by Leahy, but survived the attack.

Umm, ££££ ?
Disgraceful really. Those involved in his release - family, friends and Thai police - should be held accountable for the subsequent attempted murder.

It's crazy that he was ever let out of prison, total psycho. Knowing a bit about the shambles that the Irish justice system is he'll probably be out in 7 years.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
