Predictions for weekend

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I have enough decent steak and wine in stock for the next few days so Sunday same as usual. Afternoon by the pool weather permitting. May go into town later in the evening if fighting permits

Frank asked, "it commences at 7 AM.
i wonder if the authorities will enforce the no march ruling?"

I don't know about that but I was listening to RFE and the head of the committee, a monk, said the authorities want all participants to be fingerprinted. I shit you not.they better bring a lot of ink!!!

Beer, water ,pot noodles , cigarettes, lighter and a couple of candles. (Bottle of Bombay gin in case it lasts.) Some books.
Like when a hurricane may or may not be approaching, its good to have provisions - and beer doesn't go off. :thumb:
Petrol in your tank maybe.

Whatever, i'm sure things will be fine, and out there in the boonies, you won't even notice the difference.

well if the crowd is anything like it was last Monday that will delay the departure of the procession for a day or 2.
problem solved.
it will hinge on the willingness of The People to obey orders by the authorities.
if they insist on marching, there could well be violence.
i note HE is on the campaign trail in the provinces, so he will not be responsible for the outcome, whatever it is.

not a single sound from wat chas.
normally there is a tremendous racket from funerals starting early.

there is NO traffic in my street, which suggests that roads may be blocked off.
