Gleb know personally, Bad Driving it did not happen. Never. In no state. And this time he left in the morning - that there was a ready assembled and rested.
from the road, on the right under the wheels pulled chief of traffic police area on a bike. The blow to the side of the bike forehead machine. Bike the vehicle, at the potentates of roads fracture of both legs. Gleb, dodging at the last moment from the blow out the oncoming lane, it flies, collecting a second bike with 5! passengers and stops it in the cell. Rouge testify that Hleb is not to blame, but it does not help.

i suppose you could say the article doesnt say they were all riding the motos, some could have just been people stood about/walking along the road side, looks to be a lot of damage to the car thoughFourkinnel wrote:Unless my maths is incorrect, either 3 on both moto's or 4 + 2 etc.Prey Nop district, an SUV driven by a foreigner crashed into two motorbike resulting in death of a young Cambodian girl and injured five other.
When are they going to learn moto's are designed to be safe and able to be controlled properly with only one passenger?
[edit] just read the post above, the police chief was riding 1 bike and the other bike had 5 passengers on, probably a family at a guess

Russian Hits Two Motorbikes With SUV Near Sihanoukville
by Phan Soumy | July 14, 2016
A Russian man driving an SUV collided with two motorbikes in Preah Sihanouk province on Wednesday morning, killing a farmer’s 7-year-old daughter and injuring six other people, including a local police chief, officials said.
The Russian expatriate—later identified as 47-year-old Gleb Kasyanov—was driving on National Road 4 in Prey Nop district’s Choeung Kor commune at about 7:10 a.m. when commune police chief Mok Sokha pulled onto the highway in front of his Toyota SUV, according to Mr. Sokha’s deputy, Nuon Savat.
The SUV struck the motorbike, which was carrying the police chief and two passengers, then swerved into the oncoming lane and collided with a second motorbike, carrying a farmer and her three children, before careening off the road, Mr. Savat said.
The girl died at the scene, while others were hospitalized, he said.
“The police chief’s right leg was broken and his daughter’s right leg was broken,” he added.
Mr. Savat said he did not know how seriously the other passengers were injured but that police took them to the nearby Veal Rinh commune health center before staff transferred them to a hospital in Phnom Penh.

Russian charged in fatal Sihanoukville crash
Thu, 14 July 2016
Khouth Sophak Chakrya
A 47-year-old Russian national faces unintentional murder charges after crashing his car into two motorbikes travelling in the opposite direction, leaving a 7-year-old girl dead and six others injured yesterday in Preah Sihanouk province.
Gleb Kasyanov, who was staying in Sihanoukville, was arrested after the incident, said Yorng Bros, Prey Nop district traffic police deputy chief. It was raining as Kasyanov’s car allegedly veered onto the wrong side of the road on a curve on National Road 4 in Trapang Mol village in Prey Nop district and hit the motorbikes.
“A 7-year-old student, Touch Sreynit, died at the site and six other people were injured, including the girl’s mother and her siblings, a police official and two students,” he said.
Kasyanov faces “unintentional murder” charges because he was driving carelessly, causing death, injuries and damage to property, said Choun Narin, chief at Preah Sihanouk provincial police station. He’s scheduled to be sent to provincial court this morning.

In Australia and England, the offender is charged by the police. I think that in the US, charges are laid by the (Public?) Prosecutor.

Sounds like he was speeding. Barang usually don't face charges like that if they squish someone while driving legally, that's usually a $5000 payout for family and police or something.

Correct about USA procedure. All states have minor nuances but always charges are brought forth by the states district attorneys office. Louisiana has it a lil different but same same. Louisiana follows Napoleonic law frame & the others parliamentary.Username Taken wrote:Yes.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: *Is it fair to say that the person charged while he wasn't sent to the court yet?

Tragedy it is all around. Horrible to lose a child.
How is it that a finding of '' he was driving carelessly'' been determined?
A moto with how many people?
