A simple labourer clears upwards of 3200 australian dollars after tax for a 5 and a half day week on the gas plant.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I believe that in Europe, 'toast' refers to a type of bread, i.e 'sandwich' bread. You want toast, you get sandwich bread. Not sandwich bread that has been in a toaster.bolueeleh wrote:recently had breakfast here, "toast" wasnt toasted anymore,

Just checked out labour jobs in Darwin, they're paying $25/hour. Perhaps you meant jobs with the Labor Party?

he also meant LNG.
I guess reverse quals get danger pay.
$25 AU is not so great when cigs are $27/pack and a beer down the pub is $6
ovetime can rack up on weekends and holidays though.
a 60 hr week should get you at least AUD for a week in a real remote location.
even camp attendants who peel spuds, mop and do laundry can get $350/day on fifo jobs.
before tax.
sodexho is a good company for this.
they are global.
