The Kandal Market is probably a little damp as well. The expensive Japanese flood alleviation scheme is certainly paying off. It must have been thoroughly corrupted.

Does the Russian Market area get much flooding? Referring to south of Tuol Tom Pong. Staying there in a 2 weeks' time.

Boeung Trabek creek/drain usually overflows after a heavy rain.
Haven't noticed any flooding around the roundabout by the school, but the road south of there can get ankle to calf deep at times.

Thanks. Will be staying on 155, just north of Super Duper. But will be wandering northward as this is me getting a taste of the TTP area for the purposes of residence.Username Taken wrote:Boeung Trabek creek/drain usually overflows after a heavy rain.

I've seen some heavy flooding in the streets near the market, but that was a few years before they put in the new drainage.ExPenhMan wrote:Does the Russian Market area get much flooding? Referring to south of Tuol Tom Pong. Staying there in a 2 weeks' time.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

That doesn't seem to be helping a great deal.John Bingham wrote:I've seen some heavy flooding in the streets near the market, but that was a few years before they put in the new drainage.ExPenhMan wrote:Does the Russian Market area get much flooding? It's still flooding around the palace/street 240 where the Japanese put in a huge sediment chamber:

Did someone mention ''sediment chamber ''. Japanese technology and knowhow should be able to turn dirty water into drinkable water before dumping
it in a river or lake. Hate to think what they would do with radioactive water.

Bassac is flowing strongly into Tonle Sap for a few weeks now.
It is up noticeably on the banks.
Big question is, will La Nina arise in September ending the drought with a flood?
