Re: Foreigner Found Living Rough Along With A Bunch of Homeless People
That's street 19, not 91. I bumped into this guy a week or two ago. He said he's from Poland and has been here one year. He said he was robbed so many times, and asked how long I'd been here. I said 10 years or whatever, he asked how many times I'd been robbed. Never I said. He said he didn't believe me. I said I was probably more careful than him.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

He looks a little better last month. It seems like there is another foreigner also living rough with those homeless.

I think that's where the old German Eckchai used to "live."
I thought it was him at first, but these drifters are younger and tattoo-less.

Re: Foreigner Found Living Rough Along With A Bunch of Homeless People
There is a crazy barang living in the alley off 19 with many bags of recycling stuff, a huge pile. Why he collects stuff and doesn't sell it is a mystery.
Re: Foreigner Found Living Rough Along With A Bunch of Homeless People
Hi, my house is just by here and i've spoken many times to him and the Cambodian man that sleeps rough with him. Like you, he said he has lost his passport so I asked him to write down his name - "Rafal Cyprian Barlog" - spelling may be wrong. My Polish friend here is contacting the Polish embassy to see if there's any record of him. He's in really bad shape, as is the Cambodian guy. I'm at a loss as to what else to do to help except giving them food and water...

Why do you think the spelling may be wrong if he wrote it?

Re: Foreigner Found Living Rough Along With A Bunch of Homeless People
Now I'm confused: the homeless Polish guy is the one in the Adidas shirt, right ? And the other guy is just there to share some food with him, or is he also homeless ? Both guys in the photos look reasonably ok. (Compared to many non-homeless (homeful? homely?housed?) westerners in SV, they even look healthy,well-groomed and well-dressed. Lol)CEOCambodiaNews wrote:He looks a little better last month. It seems like there is another foreigner also living rough with those homeless.

Good on you people that are trying to help. Food, water, clothes and a mat to sit on - that's good for now, but he really needs to go home doesn't he?
