Checking into a hotel with photocopied paperwork.

Post by Marcus-Darkus »

I've handed my passport in for a 6-month extension. I've been told I can't pick it up until next Friday as there is a public holiday tomorrow and on Tuesday.
I may need to go to Siem Reap on Monday. Will I be able to check into a hotel with photocopies of my passport, 1-month visa and a receipt showing I have applied for a 6-month visa?

Many thanks

Absolutely! I have even shown to immigration the one time I was asked on the street. Not at border obviously. I always use copies.

I booked in to a hotel in PP with just a photocopy due to visa shenanigans. They only need a copy of your passport photo page.
