Question about Hansinco Voltage Regulator
I bought a 20kva Hansinco Voltage Regulator YESTERDAY and the fan stopped working in the back to keep the unit cool. I called the cheang and he said the fan should be on all the time. Anyone experienced this before? Will the machine be ok if the fan isn't on tonight? I noticed it today, so it may have shut off sometime this morning. Any advice on this would be appreciated. I already called the shop and they are coming out tomorrow, so in the meantime I thought I'd check with you guys. Btw, the fan, currently is ticking back and forth like it wants to fire up but doesn't.
Re: Question about Hansinco Voltage Regulator
It needs the fan most work by converting excess voltage to heat energy so they need a large heat sink and fan.

Re: Question about Hansinco Voltage Regulator
Yes, don't operate without a fan. If you don't have the fan it will overheat and let the smoke out of the unit
