Jailbait Scam on Walking Street (Pattaya)

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Are you saying you'd prefer to protect these individuals?

How dare we post a suspicious looking post from someone's PUBLIC Facebook page where they PUBLICLY tell the world that they let a 16 year old Thai street kid sleep in their bed, and then a few months later ends up with cops at his door demanding money because they are accusing him of having a 17 year old "girlfriend."

You hold unpopular opinions about posting pictures of naked children online, stood up for David Fletcher, and now you have an issue with us making light of suspicious posts on Facebook by someone in Pattaya who had a 16 year old street kid sleep in their bed...

Maybe I'm missing missing something, but I don't see how this is a "new low."
Hey not saying protect him, just saying why post it? Someone here has some very strange FB friends :stir: by posting this ur keeping it in google where its better off dying

Yes my opinions.
BUT u also must note i do not attack the poster ONLY the post ( unlike some here)
My photos and posts were BLOWN way out of proportion and you know it, MY photos were never taken to "excite" or titillate anyone ( and i feel sad for u if they did)
I suppose u also objected to the early Nat geo's photos of ( god forbid ) uncovered breasts :plus1:

I NEVER stood up for David, only set the records straight for many that did not know the situation, he was scum and we knew it
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I still don't get what you're saying is a "new low."

Seems that this kind of thing is probably one of the things that's most worthy making light of on South East Asian discussion forums.

In the best case scenario, he's a complete fucking idiot to think inviting a 16 year old street urchin to come sleep at his house and post about it is OK.

He's lucky stupidity/naivety is not a crime, if nothing else.

:plus1: We try to maintain certain standards, but if you think that a thread called "Jailbait scam on Walking St ( Pattaya)" might lack intellectual content or be a bit sordid, then you're probably right.

The comment is fair enough but this is not a "new" low IMO; I'm sure we've seen lower. (C'mon, must have. )

Whatever, we're not going to start trigger warnings for low-brow or bad-taste threads. The warnings would take over the forums and the poor mod would die of overwork.

lol what a dropkick the "victim" is

He's already on the bottom rung of society if he's scouring Pattaya for jailbait. No sympathy, what a loser.
