Wanna know about number of Expats in Phnom Penh

Wanna know about number of Expats in Phnom Penh

That's really crazy, I talked to some people who work for Ministry of Foreign Affair, they said they don't have any report about the number of expats in Cambodia. I talked to some people in Eurocham or other they said there is no information about it. Do you know where can I find those information?

Other people said, around 30K or the other said 10K, but those are just what they think. Can you share some ideas around?

I wouldn't trust any numbers off some random internet blogspot website, but here is one anyway that says 80,000 legally, not including tourists. Maybe you can find this "recent census" data they talked about.

There are 80, 000 foreigners legally living in Cambodia today, according to the recent census! This figure does not include tourists; but expat who are either living or working in Cambodia!

how do they determine who a tourist is and who an expat is other than the applications for work permits as just going off visas would be very inaccurate

Haha ... it is not a big doubt. Because some marketing research need to find out the market size. It's normal. :)
