In the last week at least there's been nothing - we overlook the beach and haven't seen fireworks or lanterns for ages

Easy to get fireworks in my neighborhood (PP), so easy that I often have to confiscate them from my kid and have big stashes of them around the house that I discover and blow up every now and then (with the kid watching from a safe distance).
