Re: wood prices
Sorry, but I wasn't answering. I was asking for more information about the wood that you seek and what you require it for.
I guess telling you that there's some places up the road that sell raw poles of 'wood' (of some description), as well as plywood boards and other large planks, etc. is not going to help you.
Sorry to waste your time.

Re: wood prices
Hi, it's been a couple of years now since I was buying wood, but at that time in SNV I was buying 4 m x 150 mm diameter Wookie posts for $10 each. Rock hard wood that can be sunk into water. The 6 m x 30 x 150 mm planks came it at anywhere between 8 and 14$ each, I can't remember the name of the wood at the moment, but it was for exterior use. Can't find my Sq Mtr prices at the moment either. I'm pretty sure I was paying double or at least a third more than locals too.diesel wrote:Can somebody give me some info about the wood prices?

Definitely cheaper in Siem Reap as I've heard that's where the big pieces come from. They'll sell you Japanese Acacia if your not careful for the same price as Wookie etc.Very hard to get all the wood of the same type I found. It's a bloody mess.
