Journos bemoan impending media visa situation

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Some journalists worry the overall visa crackdown has more serious consequences for foreign reporters and their ability to report anything deemed anti-junta.

I wonder who they consider a good guy? Someone with lots of money that is naive to the ways of the Thai? I know that people will probably think, good lets get rid of the crims, but I doubt if they will target them if their visa is in order and they pay the bribes.

It will of course be bad for Thailand's rep in the west if they start throwing out the journos. Somehow i don't see it stopping the tourists though.

I wonder what the new overstay rules will be.
