These are the numbers i would observe and want to improve on
36 USERS yet 15 ( as far as i know) have never made a post and 5 bots
so users online is really 16

You can spin it anyway you like

Yah, fair enough, Richard. To be fair, we only had about 900 online when I first replied to you, and we've definitely been getting up to those numbers lately.

Maybe it's the Russians?

Can't seem to write a single article about them getting arrested or dying without getting DDoS attacks.

Seems about half that crazy traffic was from..........FINLAND! Had to do with the death of Jenny Jokela. Seems like links to our homepage and links to that article got posted somewhere with Finnish readers, and they were clicking away.

About 50% of our usual high traffic was from Finland, and everything else looked about normal.

We went up to about 1,900 online, which means our "regular" traffic was up to about 900, which we've been hitting lately, thanks to regular members and

ers being more active.

When I glanced at it and saw 900 earlier in the day, it looked normal, but I see it just kept going up and up..

Things are already starting to calm down.

I'm just glad it wasn't a DDoS or anything sinister, LoL.

Thanks UT for helping set that straight.
