And Martini's on the beach was nice. They had these croissants with awesome cheese and, yes.....bacon. Bastards always seemed to run out of those things though.

Re: Breakfast in SHV
I haven't been down there for a while, but there was a great breakfast to be had at a small bakery/cafe on the right hand side of the street leading from ekireach up to the market area.
Two eggs, two bacon, really good fresh baguette, homemade preserve, creamery butter, fresh squeezed OJ, excellent quality coffee - all for around $3. Place was always jammed every morning.
Anybody know where I mean?

There is still a bakery on Market St, further along from the Samudera, heading towards the market, I saw it the other day. Certainly had fresh bread in the window.

I concur, some of pastries are good, but their cafe lattes and other foods are underwhelming. Much better cafe's with better settings (aircon, new and clean, etc.) elsewhere in SHV now. It's a good place if you want to see some dusty and noisy street action while swatting flies away. The place will probably die off along with the old french expats that frequent it.Ricky Shaw wrote:http://www.sihanoukville-cambodia.com/I ... oucer3.jpg
