A Foreigner Might Had His Motorbike and Wallet Robbed
Phnom Penh: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, A foreigner was found lying alone on the sidewalk with head injury and blood flowing from his head. It’s believed that victim might had his motorbike and wallet robbed. He was found around 3:30 am on 09 January 2016 along Norodom Blvd in front of Sisowat quay located on Chey Chumnas commune, Daun Penh district.
According to witnesses, the victim is approximately 30 years old. He was lying on the side of the road with head injury. It is not sure whether he fell by himself or he was assaulted by someone else. So the ambulance was contacted to bring him to hospital, but the foreigner refused to go to hospital.
Then, there was a woman who was on the way from her work and passed the place where the incident happened. She stopped and checked. She knows the man. She said, the victimized foreigner is a regular customer who always frequents the bar she works. Today he also came to the bar she works. She is not sure what was happened. She just ended up seeing him lying on the sidewalk with head injury.
She continued, the victim left the bar with a yellow Click and now his motorbike was disappeared along with his wallet and phone. It might be a robbery. Later she called a Tuk Tuk to bring him to private hospital without filing a complaint or reporting it to police.
