Visa Extention (3-Month Cambodian Business Visa)
Visa Extention (3-Month Cambodian Business Visa)
I have Cambodia business visa valid for 3 months. Whether this can be extended for one year after a short stay of 10 days?

Re: Visa Extention
its only valid for 1 month stay, valid for 3 months to use
so go extend it now
3 , 6, 1 year extension ( 6 an 1 year are multiple entries)

Re: Visa Extention
I think he means he has a 3 month extension as there is no 3 month visa. You used to be able to extend it as soon as you wanted but that may have changed.

Re: Visa Extention
i bet he means he has a 1 month visa an its good for 3 months of entry
plus he has only been there 10days
Otherwise he would already know how to get an extension and when

My business visa is issued on 18/11/2015 and expires on 18/02/2016.I shall be travelling to PP in the first week of Feb 2016.I shall be staying for a week only.
Can I extend the visa for one year before i leave?

What people are saying is that what you have now is actually called a "visa extension" not a visa itself.ram28 wrote:My business visa is issued on 18/11/2015 and expires on 18/02/2016.I shall be travelling to PP in the first week of Feb 2016.I shall be staying for a week only.

Yes, you can extend for another 12 months from Lucky Lucky, but they take longer than they used to, so you might want to talk to them about how long it will take and do it the sooner the better.

As others have said, your visa is good for 1 month at the moment.ram28 wrote:My business visa is issued on 18/11/2015 and expires on 18/02/2016.I shall be travelling to PP in the first week of Feb 2016.I shall be staying for a week only.

No idea if you will have the time to get your extension in 1 week, or if they will issue an extension so soon after arrival. Take care that you won't get held up by the Chinese New Year ( this year it is Feb 8 ) - this is not a public holiday, but things can be slow and some places close.

What the posters are saying ram28 is you have a 3-month window to use your 30-day visa. Once in country, immediately go to a travel agent and buy an extension. It may take a few days to get your passport back.
