Work in Siem Reap

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yeah travelling in the boonies will teach you alot quick, but one young Aussie kid's idea of holding a convo is different from others. Good luck to the OP, don't forget to renew that visa... if you do, just come down to the Shv meet up and forget about the visas, according to some you'll fit right in! There's even a G'day Mate bar here! ;)
Haha unfortunately the last two times I went only to Siem Reap for a few days, like most people that come to Cambodia! :D
I am currently in Snook and am loving camping out at Outrey, absolutely lovely here, just a shame that I have to leave in a couple of days to Koh Kong!!

And there are plenty of people working for room and board.

Full time bar tending averages around 500 USD plus perks might seem like a dream job but eventually people go downhill here might not happen straight away but in time most go down hill.
Yeh I've heard that that's around the going price for 6 days a week in SR. I can imagine, but I have to ask downhill in what way?? :)
