Zic Zac Bar Sihanoukville

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

You can't light petrol with fags, you need a spark. Which would be provided by any Cambodian electrical appliance or wall socket.

Just go outside to light them.

FWIW, its name is ZiC ZaC. You are obviously not from, or are new to, Sihanoukville.
Doesnt really matter, it's still absolutely dead, as is every bar downtown. Even Kangaroo Kitchen, now Kev has gone and Charlie Harpers since Tony left us.

Yeah Zic Zac, I'll try blame that on spell check lol. Not been in for some time now!

Yep, every bar around there has a feeling of run down , seen better times. Victory hill strip gets quieter every year. Pub St trying to get more folk by putting beer prices up?. Lots of previously yearly migrating folk left for good already, not just SHV but all over Cambodia (went up PP few weeks back, never seen it so quiet) and some parts of Thailand and Philippines. Good staff seem increasingly hard to find too. Only about now until end of Feb is what you can call high season. I think soon I will make plans to do the same, as will some of my friends, maybe visiting only one month per year. Been here 8 years, can't see many more years of fun and I don't intend to stop in more!. If SHV get anymore overrun by Casinos and Chinese KTV hotels, and the traffic police, bag snatchers, and aggressive drug pushing tuk tuk drivers scare the rest of the tourists away, i don't think I'll bother at all!

"traffic police, bag snatchers, and aggressive drug pushing tuk tuk drivers"
why not use a singular term?

Drop the fag near the petrol. If it lands on its tip, you have your spark

Gas or gasoline it's all bollocks.
Never smelt anything other than fags, beer and cheap perfume at that place.

The owner is a good host and always shouts beers. :beer3:
