true, but the Buddha which Buddhism is focused around was not like Jesus, Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, and praised people for worshiping him, where as the Buddha claimed to be neither a God, Angel, or man, but an enlightened being, and for people not to worship him but to worship themselves in order to reach enlightenment too

the Buddha is Gautam Buddha He was born in Nepal, lumbini. His family name is Siddhārtha Gautam, the person who began the religion of Buddhism. He lived from about 563 BC to about 483 BC, he is not a God and he never claimed to be a God

You meant Jesus is the son of God. Who is his father?
If people don't worship Buddha, why they go to pagoda?

He passed away in 543 BC. But the next Buddha will born soon.
Just because he never claimed he is the God that is why we should think he is not a God?

Jesus was apparently the son of God, born through the virgin mary, on the 25th December (Christmas) God is the Father of Jesus (apparently)

many reasons, to pay respects to the Buddhas teachings, respects to their families and ancestors, for good luck and good Karma, i often go to the pagoda to get washed by the monk about once a month

maybe you not understand what the meaning of what a God is,
God is the creator, the creator of the universe and all living things, the sustainer of the universe, the Buddha is not the creator of the universe, he is not the creator of man, the Buddha started off as just a man, a man who lived the "perfect" life and reached enlightenment to put it simply

the universe is so scientifically finely tuned that it would be impossible for it to have just happened by chance, scientists only explanation for how it could be so finely tuned by chance is that there must be a near infinite number of multiple universes, space fascinates me, there is far more to space than what our brains can absorb as reality, the worst thing is that we will never fully understand it either, humans have been trying to decipher it for thousands of years and we are forever learning new things, but each new thing learnt makes everything harder and crazier to understand,

"Life is too important to take seriously."

"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh."

But what we perceive as finely-tuned might in fact be chaos.

in which case.......

Re: which religion, the meaning of holy is ' set apart', and therefore it is by nature divisive/ non-inclusive. I fail to see how anything that is by definition exclusive can be peaceful.

I ma likewise concerned ta some peoples ignorance of their own religion, despite them being adults and ergo parctising it for a minimum of 18 years.
