Kampot, Cambodia: A 58 year old Australian National named Andrew James Sinclair Dies in Cambodia from what local police are saying is "due to excessive alcohol.

They are estimating he died around 8 or 9AM on November 13 and was later found around 3PM.

Andrew James Sinclair was found dead in a pool (bathtub/Jacuzzi?)

After investigating, police concluded it was not murder or suicide, but just an accident.

An Australian man found dead in the swimming pool, police confirmed it was not murder

Kampot: According to Dap News, An Australian man went into swimming pool and then he was choked with water and died due to excessive drinking.
Police assumed that the deceased died around 08:00 to 09:00 am on 13 November 2015 at his house located in Ta Deb village, Andong kmer commune, Kampot city. He was seen by a construction worker who went into this house around 03:00 pm and then he reported it to police.

After autopsy police confirmed the victim might have been excessive drinking which caused him to have diarrhea. Then he went swimming and after that he might have been fainted. It was not murder.

The victim was living alone and his name is Sinclair Andrew James, male, 58 years old, Australian. He was living in address mentioned above.

58 years old and pissed at 8am, if he actually was, is rather a splendid effort. I've found my alcohol clock receding markedly since hitting 45, and now if I'm sloshed at anywhere near 3 or 4am (which is usually twice a week) I'm just fucking tired. *heavy sigh*

So, if I understand the Cambodian forensics in this article, he drowned in his swimming pool and therefore died of excessive drinking and diarrhea while swimming. Sounds more like a case of a 'lack of wind in his body' than excessive drink. And there appear to be a lot of suspicious looking trees in the background there. How can the cops be sure they didn't suck all the oxygen out of the air? All very suspicious.
