May be true BUT the Philippines has the worst fries i have ever had
Bali, same taste as Thailand BUT it will cost ya 40% LESS to eat there ( no idea why and it was the same for Burger king, 40% less)
IN fact a big mac set will cost ya less than fried rice and a coke in kuta......go figure......

I bought a single cheeseburger while waiting for my Phnom Penh flight in Bangkok. I remember I was surprised by how good it actually was. I figured it was because it was my first meal in a day that wasn't served at 30 000 feet, but maybe this guy might be on to something.

I ate a kfc in Kazakhstan and to my surprise it was the best tasting i had ever eaten,even the fries were flavoursome.Tried kfc in Bangkok and had to go find a fire hose,it was just loaded with chilli.

The reason McDonald's is crap in the US and probably most western countries is because of the low quality ingredients they use not the way the food is prepared. Factory farmed beef pumped up with steroids and hormones so they can survive wallowing in feces in a crowded pen isn't a good look for a restaurant. Perhaps in Thailand they have a halfway decent supplier for their meat. That would be my guess.

McDonalds in India is radically different because they have no beef in the menu.
manila I agree the fries were crap

in Macau just now & they do an awesome salad & great soup at McDs here
£3-4 a meal
