Time to ditch avatars?
Time to ditch avatars?
Looking at the same silly pic over and over and over sometimes past hundreds to thousands of times does get tired. How's about we kill 'em or do something less boring to distinguish ourselves. Or maybe nothing.
What say you, ladies and laddies?

I don't really notice people's avatars anymore. You can go into the Control panel and turn them off if they annoy you.Otis wrote:Looking at the same silly pic over and over and over sometimes past hundreds to thousands of times does get tired. In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

I love the avatars!
I remember causing mass confusion on K440 once, when The Dragon lead about 10 people to use the same avatar of another poster. Hurt my eyes too.

Avatars are good IMO. I find them to be a good way to get a full picture of a poster and possibly the way they perceive their attitude to come across.
