A five year old girl was wounded on her face after she got hit by a glass thrown by her drunken father.

Kandal: According to Kampuchea Thmey Daily, A five year old girl was wounded near her right eye as she got hit by a glass thrown by her father during a domestic dispute. The father had intended to throw the glass at her mother, but it hit the child instead as she was being held by her mother.

The domestic dispute that led to the serious injury of the 5 year old girl happened around 3:30 pm on 22 September 2015, in Preak Chrok village, Bak Daov commune, Kasach Kandal district, Kandal province.

Police confirmed, around 03:30 pm on 22 September, 2015, the father was drinking with his neighbor. Then, when he came back home, he had an argument with his wife which turned into a domestic dispute. He threw a glass at his wife, but it didn’t hit his wife, but his 5 year old daughter instead. The girl was badly injured near her eye and cheek.
