The Best Things About Growing Old

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

On the other hand you will be interested in a gastronomical titbit.
Did you know that grilled hedgehog is a Belgian favourite ?
The animal should then be seasoned and prepared for cooking; pressed in a towel until dry, then either encased in clay or wrapped in grasses. The meat should then be roasted and served with cameline sauce.

Personally I rather like that I hit an age where the little head no longer has much power to do the thinking. This makes things much easier. I save money too.

Things that REALLY bugged me years ago, don't much anymore.

Friends don't ask me to come help them move to a new home, or haul band equipment cuz they have a bad back.

It's baked hedgehog in the UK. You basically cover the thing in so much clay that it's just a large ball. Chuck it in a fire for a few hours and then crack it open (the spines stay in the clay).

I don't have any best thing about growing old yet. I just try to forget to count my age. Forever young!
